PBF offers presentations for dental students about the value and benefits of practicing dentistry in a Dental Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA). The presentation teaches dental students about the dental workforce shortage in Maryland and shows them how practicing in a Dental HPSA can be a deeply fulfilling and financially rewarding career choice. On April 1, 2024, and January 27, 2025, both Diane Romaine, DMD, MM, MAGD and Allen Schiff, Dental CPA (both pictured below) presented this seminar for students at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry (UMSOD). The next seminar will take place at the UMSOD in the 2025/2026 academic year.
